Vision

• The Bokamoso Private Hospital, will provide a quality of clinical care that meets the best international standards and will maintain excellent patient service and high levels of productivity. As such, the Bokamoso Private Hospital will be a leading health care institution in southern Africa.

Goals for the Bokamoso Hospital include:

• Providing a full range of secondary and many tertiary hospital services;
• Serve insured and private-pay patients, road accident victims and some of the government sponsored cases currently being sent to South Africa
• Implementing an advanced nursing practice that will be a model for southern Africa, training nurses for the Hospital and for service elsewhere in the country.

Size And Configuration

• The hospital will open with 200 inpatient beds and a 30 bed rehab unit, along with ambulatory care facilities “on-campus” as well as at potentially a site located in central Gaborone.
• The hospital is to be opened in late 2009.
